Our Curriculum

More detailed information about our curriculum is published each half term in our Curriculum Newsletters. If you have any questions about our curriculum or would like more information please speak to your child's Class Teacher.

The National Curriculum is defined by law and we ensure our curriculum meets both the statutory requirements and the needs of our children. Please click on the links below for an overview of each year group's curriculum plan. These plans are reviewed and refined throughout the year in response to the children's needs and interests.

Here at Weston Park Primary we love reading quality books. That is why we invested in a reading spine. These are core texts which are the building blocks of each year groups reading. Please find these book lists below and discover what your child will be reading this year.

We also use the "Oxford Reading Tree" and "Bug Club" to support reading.
