On Thursday 8th September 2022, the Year 4 children will be taking part in an Anglo-Saxon and Scots launch day. This will be the launch of our first topic in year 4 which compares the life of Anglo-Saxon and Scots to modern Britain. On this day we would like to invite the children to dress up as a person from the Anglo-Saxon time period. The children will be completing a range of activities during the day including observing artefacts and creating an Anglo-Saxon pendant. We hope the children will come home excited about their new topic and share their developing knowledge with you.
